Resourcing the Police should not be left in the hands of government alone - Wa Municipal Police Commander

The  Wa Municipal Police Commander, Henry Amankwetia says resourcing  the Police  should not be left in the hands of government alone.
  
He said any individual or organization that has the ability to assist the police in whatever form can do so to enable the police to perform its duties effectively. 

Mr. Amankwetia stated this when he received office chairs worth five hundred Ghana Cedis presented by Bunas Construction Company at Wa in the Upper West Region. 

Mr Amankwetia said government is doing its best to resource the police service to protect the citizenry in going about their legitimate duties. He said it is however not possible for government alone to provide everything that the police service needs. 

The Municipal Police Commander commended the Chief Executive of Bunas Construction Company, Abdul-nasir Saani for going to the aid of the service and asked other companies to emulate the gesture. 
 
The Chief Executive Officer of Bunas Construction Company Abdul-nasir Saani said he made the presentation to the police because he realised that chairs being used by  some of the personnel when he visited the police station were not good.
   
The donation he said is his widow’s might in complementing government’s efforts to resource the police service to render services to the people.  

Mr Saani pledged that more of such presentation will be made in the near future.
