President Mahama Consoles Government And People Of Venezuela For The Death Of President Chavéz

President John Dramani Mahama has extended condolence of the government and people of Ghana to the people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the passing on of President Hugo Chavez. 

A statement issued in Accra last night and signed by the President extends deep regrets to the Vice President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro and the bereaved family on the painful loss. It said the late President Chavez will be remembered for dedicating himself to the building of a new society in his country through progressive social and economic changes that took millions of his people out of poverty.
