Parents, teachers and students urged to put education on better pedestal 

The Minister of Education, Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has asked winners of the 2013 President's Independence Day Award not to rest on their oars. 

She said a lot must be done if the country's educational system must compete with other systems around the world. 

She urged parents, teachers and students to work harder to put education on a better pedestal. 

Prof Naana Opoku-Agyemang was speaking during a luncheon organised for the awardees by her Ministry.
