Committee constructs about GH₵ 200,000 classroom and computer lab for Adina Zion Basic School 

The Landing Beach Committee of Adina in the Ketu South District is constructing about 200 thousand Ghana cedi one-storey classroom and computer laboratory complex block for the local Adina Zion Basic School through revenue accruing from their sale of premix fuel. Already, over 55 thousand Ghana cedis have been spent on the project. 

The Chairman of the Committee, Torgbui Seth Abotsi disclosed this at a meeting in Adina. He said the Committee decided to undertake the project to assist the school. He expressed concern about the delay in the execution of the project which he attributed to the irregular supply of premix fuel to the community. 

Togbui Abotsi therefore appealed to the National Premix Committee and other concerned authorities to ensure on regular supply of the commodity to them. 

The Secretary of the Committee, Emmanuel Doe Dogbey said the quantity of premix supply which is irregular cannot even satisfy the 52 boats under the Adina Landing Beach Committee. 

Mr. Dogbey said all efforts through the authorities including NADMO and the Ghana National Canoe Fishermen Council to intervene have proved futile.
