MD of GWCL reacts  to media criticism against his reputation

The Managing Director of Ghana Water Company, Kweku Botchway, has been explaining the media criticism against his reputation. 
 
He told Radio Ghana that he has delivered on his managerial mandate with commitment and wondered why a cross section of the media is taking  the causes of the water problem out of context. 

Mr. Botchway said he had wanted the technical committee investigating the breakdown of the Weija Treatment Plant to finish its work before commenting but misrepresentation of facts by the media has compelled him to speak.

 He agreed that Ghana Water Company needs to apologise to Ghanaians for the  crisis.
