Zoomlion Host Innovation Conference

Managing Member of the KAMA Group of Companies, Dr Michael Addo Agyekum says innovation is the surest way for organisations to survive. 

He said this can be successfully carried out through the use of the brain and identification of opportunities that could give survival options to the organisations. Dr Agyekum said this at the Innovation Day Conference organised by Zoomlion Ghana Limited for its staff across the country. 

Dr Agyekum said the world is being challenged by natural disasters and economic crises and it is only innovation through the use of the brain that can salvage the situation. 

He added that the use of ICT has led to a high rate of unemployment in the world, meaning families and companies can only survive by being innovative. 

He suggested that, innovation should move faster than the industrial revolution to avert looming disasters that can result from unemployment and abject poverty. 
The Managing Director of Zoomlion Ghana Limited Mrs Florence Larbi, appealed to the participants to practice whatever they learnt from the conference in order to increase their output and fortunes of the company to be able to employ many others in the coming years.  

The programme was attended by Metropolitan, Municipal and District Operation Supervisors, Managers and other collaborators throughout the country. Topics such as Innovation, the ultimate survival tool, and Thinking outside the box as a survival tool were treated to equip the participants with managerial skills that could enable them to give up their best on the field.
