Death Toll In Accra -Cape Coast Highway Accident Increased To Eleven The death toll in the road accident has increased to eleven. Last Saturday a mini bus collided head-on with another bus at Gomoa Sinbrofo on the Winneba- Accra highway. Seven died on the spot while two died on their way to the hospital. Reports say the last two died in hospital on Sunday. The passengers on board the mini bus, a Hyundai Grace with registration number CR 885-11 were moving from Gomoa Ankamu junction to Kasoa while the others on the Mercedes mini bus with registration number GE 3969-12 were moving from Accra to Cape Coast. The police said the Hyundai bus had a burst tyre and veered off its lane and collided with the Mercedes bus. The deceased included three females and six males. Their bodies have been deposited at the Winneba Trauma Specialist Hospital. Eleven other people who sustained varying degrees of injuries are receiving treatment at the St. Luke Catholic Hospital at Apam and the Winneba Trauma Specialist Hospital. GBC
