All districts hooked onto School Feeding Programme - Coordinator The National Coordinator of the School Feeding Programme, Seidu Adamu, says the scheme which started on a low key has now picked up. Currently, every district has been hooked onto it with about one point six million children. He said the programme is to help the children of the poor and that, all efforts are being put in place to make it universal. Mr. Adamu spoke to Ibrahim Kwarteng on our Current Affairs Programme, "Behind the News" last night. On challenges facing the programme, Mr. Adamu said the Netherlands government at the beginning of the programme offered 50 percent financial support but withdrew in 2007 due to problems in the selection of schools. Touching on the selection of caterers, he said since 2010, the caterers have been selected at the district level through adverts. GBC
