UHAS inaugurated with 155 foundation students

Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has inaugurated the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) at Ho and he has also inducted into office the Vice Chancellor and the Pro-Vice Chancellor. 

One hundred and fifty-five foundation students have also been matriculated. 

It is a public funded university in the region with a second Campus in Hohoe. 

He said the government is committed to providing the university with all the necessary facilities at its permanent site at Sokode Lokoe to achieve its set objectives. 

Facilities at the Hohoe campus are also almost ready and some of the pioneer students will be posted there for their academic work.
