Butchers and Livestock Owners Association appeal to government The leadership of the Ghana Co-operative Butchers and Livestock Owners Association has called on government to re-consider its decision to eject the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle from Agogo. The General Secretary of the Association, Chief Alhaji Issifu Musah, who made the appeal through GBC’s Radio Ghana, said the country is likely to be a net importer of beef from neighbouring countries at a great cost if government takes that action. Alhaji Musah therefore suggested camping the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle at one place far away from town to avoid disturbances. GBC NEWS
