250 Ghanaian students leave for Cuba to study medicine

Two hundred and fifty Ghanaian students will leave for  Cuba today to study in different fields of medicine.  

The students selected from deprived areas across the country will be away for six years.  

At a dinner last night in their honour, the Vice President, John Mahama charged the students to exhibit characters that reflect the ideals of the country they are coming from.  

Some of the students expressed  excitement about the scholarship, offered them.  They hoped to make the best use of it.
