Government to establish authority on Occupational Safety and Health The Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Welfare, Antwi-Boasiako Sekyere says government will soon establish an Authority on Occupational Safety and Health to oversee and implement the impending draft National Occupational Safety and Health Policy. The policy is expected to serve as guideline for adoption across all major sectors of the economy to ensure safe and healthy workplace programmes. It will also encourage more investments in health and safety for employers, employees as well as communities where they operate.
