Plastic waste recycling plant to be established in UER 

The Upper East Regional Coordinating Council, RCC will today launch an anti-plastic waste disposal campaign to get rid of plastic waste in the region. 

The RCC is also collaborating with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to establish a plastic waste recycling plant in the Upper East Region so that waste collected will be recycled and used as raw materials for other goods. 

The Regional Minister, Mark Woyongo, told Radio Ghana that the project will be replicated in all districts of the region.
