Moroccan King Mohammed in Ghana for three-day visit

The King of Morocco, King Mohammed is in Ghana for a three day state visit.
He was met on arrival by the Vice President, Dr. Mohamadu Bawumia, Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayokor Botchway and other Ministers of state.
His visit is to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries and explore investment opportunities.
King Mohammed is expected to hold talks with President Akufo-Addo tomorrow, after which he will be hosted to an official lunch at the Presidency.
He will also meet the business community and some Moroccan residents in Ghana.
The scene at the Kotoka International Airport was colourful as some Moroccan residents in Ghana lined up waving the flag of Morocco to welcome their king.
The North African nation was recently admitted into the African Union at the 28th ordinary session in Ethiopia, after it broke ranks with its predecessor organisation, the OAU.
King Mohammed will depart for Morocco on Saturday.
