Newly constituted Hajj Board inaugurated by President Akufo-Addo

President Akufo Addo has challenged the newly constituted Hajj Board to ensure that 2017 and successive Pilgrimages to Mecca are devoid of any mishaps.
Swearing in the 14 member board at Flagstaff House in Accra, President Akufo-Addo urged the members to diligently discharge their duty to the benefit of the Muslim community and the country at large.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu in a remark said the board should honour the oath of secrecy.
He also offered prayers for the board.
The Chairman of the Hajj Board, Sheikh I.C. Quaye, thanked the President for the confidence reposed in them.
He pledged the board's commitment to live up to expectation.
