The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Special Revenue Mobilization Task Force has recovered over three hundred million Ghana Cedis from defaulters after embarking on a distress action.

The taskforce which was set up in August, 2015 was mandated among other things to ensure full tax compliance, embark on massive debt collection and sensitise the public to ensure voluntary compliance.

The Coordinator of the task force, Henry Sam, at a media briefing in Accra said the task force will intensify its tax compliance checks this year to sustain the gains made in the recovery of hidden taxes.

He entreated all taxpayers to voluntarily approach the tax offices and regularise their tax obligations.
