Parliament condemns vandalisation of properties

Parliament has condemned the vandalisation and seizure of properties by individuals alleged to be New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful.
Raising the issue on the floor of Parliament, the minority leader, Haruna Iddrissu, said the practice does not augur well for national peace and cohesion.
He called for a drastic solution to this recurring activity.
The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu said the actions were wrong and so called on supporters to curb their excesses.
Giving a chronology of similar events after each election, he said the police must always act timeously.
