Some Ministerial nominees share their vision

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has released more names for consideration of Parliament as Ministers of State.

He made the announcement at a press conference at the Flagstaff House on Tuesday afternoon,

Some of the Ministerial nominees shared their vision with Radio Ghana.

The nominee for Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo said the first one hundred days of government will see a new budget with emphasis on a review of taxes.

It is likely that there will be a merger of the Power and Energy Ministries.

The Energy Minister designate, Boakye Agyarko who gave the hint said he will work to address the challenge in the sector.

Ken Ofori Atta who will be heading to the Finance Ministry was optimistic about building a vibrant economy.

The Health Minister designate, Kwaku Agyeman Manu plans to improve challenges with the NHIS for efficient service delivery for the citizenry.

For Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie pledged his commitment to grow the sector by prioritising key areas such as the cocoa sector.

The Foreign Minister designate, Shirly Ayorkor Bocthway promised to improve Ghana's relations with the global community.
