IFEJ to organise its flamingo awards 2016 ceremony on Friday

The Institute of Financial and Economic Journalists, IFEJ will organise its FLAMINGO AWARDS 2016 ceremony on Friday January 27 at the Dubois Memorial Centre in Accra.

A statement issued and signed by IFEJ President, Lloyd Evans said five institutions have so far extended a hand of support to the IFEJ-Flamingo Awards for business and financial journalism.

The institutions which donated a total of 30 thousand Ghana Cedis include the National Investment Bank, GCB, the Ghana Stock Exchange, Vivo Energy and the Central Securities Depository.

The theme for this year's Awards is: Strengthening Micro Finance Institutions to Enhance the Growth of Rural and Micro Enterprises.

The essence of the Annual Awards is to recognise business and financial journalists and editors who have provided high quality coverage of the business and financial environment in the country.
